Profile
Miciyo Ida studied singing with Prof.R.Hikita in Japan, with Prof.M.Lantieri,S.Ghione in Italy,and
with Prof.C,Stanischeff,F.Ockerlund in Wien. And the roles she has sung in opera are,
Gretel from "Haensel und Gretel", Adina from "L'elisir d'amore',
Rosina from "Il Barbiere di Sivillia",Violetta from "La
Traviata", Governess from"The turn of the screw", Lucia
from "Lucia di Lammermooor", Gilda from "Rigoletto",
Rosalinde from "Die Fledermaus", Mimi from "La Boheme",
Susanna from "Segreto di Susanna", Tsu from "Yuzuru",
Koenigin der Nacht from "Die Zauberfloete".
She sings in many concerts in Japan, Italy, Germany, Austria. She has sung also as a solist of the symphonies composed by Beethoven,Mahler,Mendelssohn and in many other music.
She lives in Wien. Member of the Nikikai Opera in Japan.
(Note) Michyo Ida is a graduate of Chigusa High School in Nagoya and the Education Department of Kyoto University. Myself, Shoji Sugita, is a former-social-study and Japanese history teacher of the high school.
I think she is a charming, sincere soprano solist with pure and strong
will affects a lot of people's minds deeply. I decided to create her own
home page on my site. By the way, I was awarded Order Decorations, " Kun 4th Kyokujitsu Shoju_sho "( The 4th Orders of the Rising
Sun ) by the Emperor on April 29,1997. and was a winner of the Prize from the Minister of Education.
